Brandon readies for their 26th annual auction

Tuesday, July 22 at 4 p.m. — BRANDON — If you plan to attend just one auction this summer, make it the annual Great Brandon Auction, Tuesday, July 22 at 4 p.m. in Brandon’s Central Park. A preview takes place at 2 p.m. prior. The 26th annual event is sponsored by the Brandon Area Chamber of Commerce to benefit the Community Projects of the Chamber.
The auction offers antiques, collectibles, new merchandise, services, original art, and more; surprises and treasures from attics and barns. Also, lots of gift certificates to dozens of state and local businesses including restaurants, museums, fuel oil, massages, dinner for eight at a beautiful Inn; new merchandise from many local businesses including a New England Woodcraft desk and chest; dressers, beds, tools, art, chairs, old Brandon memorabilia, bookshelves, gardening items, TVs, Ematic Genesis Prime XL 10″ Multi-Touch Tablet; items for dorms and apartments; original artwork from many of Brandon’s famed artists; household goods and furnishings including collectibles, books, kitchen gadgets, children’s items, box lots; and of course our usual selection of interesting and eclectic items.
Auctioneer Barb Watters will hit the gavel at precisely 4 p.m. If you can’t stay, you can leav a bid with a Chamber staff person.
Brandon Lions will be grilling dinner and providing cold drinks and snack.
Bring your chair, family, and friends. The event is rain or shine. If it rains the auction will be held under the tent. Vermont State Sales Tax of 6% will apply to all purchases excluding gift certificates. Resellers, you will be required to sign an exemption form, so bring your number. Buyers, your cash or good check is welcome!
