Equestrian Paradise
Savor the summer mountains, trails, and meadows on horseback. Find exhilaration with the sun on your face and the breeze at your back as you ride through the cool, green hills. Its a natural here at the Crossroads of Vermont. After all, the Morgan horse, one of the few breeds of light horses that originated in New England, has its origin here in Vermont. Every Morgan is directly descended from Justin Morgan, a Morgan horse that lived in Vermont during the late 1700s. True to the nature of the state of its origins, the Morgan horse is noted for its gentle disposition, great stamina, courage, and beauty. Many Morgans were used as hunters, polo ponies, and army horses. Come and travel the crossroads of Vermont on one of these mighty ponies.
