Eastbound Traffic Killington to Bridgewater
AOT has posted Route 4 East from Killington to Bridgewater closed
for construction from 7:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. daily. The Town,
working with AOT and the Rutland County Sheriffs Department, is
coordinating police escorted / assisted exits and entrances daily.
Until further notice, the schedule will be the following:
- 6:00 a.m. Bridgewater
to Killington
- 6:30 a.m. Killington to
Bridgewater
- 6:30 p.m. Bridgewater
to Killington
- 7:00 p.m. Killington to
Bridgewater
Proceed with extreme caution and at very low speeds. Hazardous road
conditions exist. Please yield to any construction vehicles.
Where to go for supplies in your community
Any resident in need of food, water, supplies (diapers, dog food,
etc) or meals ready to eat should follow the procedures below based
on the community in which they are located.
If you are unsure where to go, please call 802-422-FIRE for
specific directions.
BRIDGEWATER RESIDENTS: Your supply station is The Grange Hall, open
Saturday, September 03 from noon - 6 pm. Please call Command
Central at 802-672-3334 with inquiries or to donate supplies. Hours
beyond Saturday are still being established; join the group
"Bridgewater Flood Response" on Facebook for the most updated
information.
KILLINGTON RESIDENTS: Your supply station is The Butternut Inn off
the access road. Please call 802-422-FIRE (3473) or visit
www.KillingtonTown.com for updates and information. The Butternut's
hours will be 7 am - 5 pm.
MENDON RESIDENTS: Your supply station is the Mendon Mountainview
Lodge. If you are unable to get there, please call 802-775-1662 to
request what you need and it will be delivered to you.
PITTSFIELD RESIDENTS: Your supply station is the Fire House. For
updated information, questions, or to request supplies, please call
the Town Clerk at 802-746-8170, available from 10 am - 4 pm.
Please note that you do not need to leave your community to get
supplies - there is no need to attempt travel on roads under
construction. Call 802-422-FIRE with any questions about any of
this information.
