Nov. 18-20 -The annual Ski and Snowboard Swap at Okemo Mountain
School will take place this weekend! It's the place to gear up for
the winter with new and used equipment at great prices. Skiers and
snowboarders will find everything they need to make the most out of
the snowy season: skis, snowboards, boots, bindings, helmets,
goggles, outerwear and more. Proceeds benefit the Okemo Mountain
School, in Ludlow, Vt.
The Swap takes place in the Clock Tower Base Lodge at Okemo
Mountain Resort. The sale runs from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18 (3-4
p.m. are preview hour); 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19; and 9
a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20. $5 admission, free for Okemo
employees.
Anyone interested in parting with gear can sell it on consignment.
(Please no equipment older than 7 years.) Twenty-five percent of
the selling price goes to Okemo Mountain School and the remainder
is mailed to the seller about 3 weeks after the Swap. Consignment
items will only be accepted at Okemo's First Aid Building (in the
Clock Tower Base Area) on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 12-13, and
Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
