OCTOBER 6- The Great Rutland Race is an all day race/scavenger
hunt (of sorts) that bring participants to points within a
five-mile range of downtown. Teams of two will be sent all over the
city on random assignments. All locations will remain confidential
until participants receive their packet the morning of the race.
Teams then have 45 minutes to plan what they think will be the
fastest route. Jumping in a car is not permitted- participants must
choose between going on foot and catching THE BUS to get from point
to point. Teams are required to have some sort of matching theme.
While wearing matching shirts does count, it is a lot more fun to
have coordinated costumes!
All profits will go to the Rutland Recreation Scholarship
fund.
The fee to participate is $70 pre-registration or $80 on race
day (if there is space.) The race is limited to 30 teams. To
