Copper pipe theft leads to multiple charges

On October 24, at approximately 1 p.m. Vermont State Police responded to a burglary complaint where it was reported that copper pipes were taken from the basement of the residence of Timothy Crean, located on US Route 7, in the Town of Pittsford, Vt. Witnesses observed a suspicious vehicle leaving the scene, which was later identified by State Police members.

The copper material was scrapped at Mac's Steel, where witnesses identified two subjects, Scott Clark, age 42 from Fair Haven, Vt. and Thomas Farrell, age 33 from Pittsford, Vt. Both subjects were arrested for Burglary, Possession of Stolen Property. Clark was also charged with violating his conditions of release.
