On Nov. 03, 2012, at approximately 10:27 a.m., the Vermont State
Police responded to 100 Westway Mall Road (Family Dollar) in the
Town of West Rutland for a Retail Theft Complaint.
Upon arrival contact was made with an employee who advised
Shannon M. Blanchard, age 26 from Fair Haven, attempted to steal
clothing from the establishment. The employee advised when she
confronted Blanchard she returned the merchandise and
departed. The employee was not hurt or injured.
At approximately 11:23 a.m., Blanchard was located in the Town
of Fair Haven. Based upon such she was photographed, fingerprinted,
and issued a Citation to appear in Rutland Superior Court.
