Castleton man accused of heroin trafficking

FAIR HAVEN-On April 23, at approximately 4:45 p.m., the Vermont State Police initiated a motor stop on VT Route 4 in the town of Fair Haven.

During the stop contact was made with Kenneth D. Trapp, age 31 from Castleton, Vt. As a result of the stop a search warrant was sought and obtained. The results of the Search Warrant yielded 1,200 bags of Heroin.

Based upon such Trapp was taken into custody and later released to the custody of Federal Authorities.

The Vermont State Police were assisted at the scene by Fair Haven Police Corporal Dale Kerber and his canine, Max, who were instrumental in identifying the area that illegal drugs were later found.

Trapp has been accused of heroin trafficking.
