Obituary: Richard Gordon Rebolledo, 67

Avid, lifetime skier
Richard Gordon Rebolledo of Dublin, NH died on Aug. 1, 2013 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA after a period of failing health. Richard was born on June 2, 1946 in Keene, NH, the son of Alvaro Rebolledo and Margaret Kendall Rebolledo.
Richard lived in Killington, Vt. and the greater Boston area for many years before moving to Dublin, New Hampshire where he lived with his wife Renee.
Richard grew up in Flushing, NY and Glen Cove, L. I. He was a Vietnam veteran who served in the United States Air Force as crew chief on C-130 aircraft. Post military service, he moved back to New Hampshire and became a professional commercial pilot, employed by a regional commuter airline.
Richard founded and was president of Northeast Performance Equipment Company, retail and wholesale automotive and recreational vehicle parts and supply in both Keene and Manchester, NH.
Richard later changed professions, entering the world of commercial ocean logistics, as vice president of Northeast Agencies; a position he held for 18 years. In 1991, he was hired by Canadian Pacific (CPShips) as manager of the New England-Boston regional office of Canada Maritime. In 1996, Richard founded Seascape Logistics (an international logistics firm), serving as the company's president until 2010 and then as Vice President, Treasurer and on the Board of Directors until the time of his death.
He was a well known figure in the world of ocean transportation and a member of Westconn International Trade Association since 1974.
Richard was an avid, lifetime skier. His other interests were radio control model aviation, classic cars and writing poetry which was occasionally published.
Richard leaves behind his loving wife of 27 years Renee (Cerski) Rebolledo of Dublin, NH, his son Lieutenant John Evans Rebolledo of Yokota Air Force Base, Japan and his daughter Lenore Jane Rebolledo of Lynchburg, VA. He is  also survived by his mother Margaret Rebolledo of Bow, NH, his sister Laura Rebolledo of Bow, NH, his sister Dolores Rebolledo (and her husband Richard Newman) of Stratham, NH, his brother Robert Rebolledo (and his wife Peggy) of Park City, UT, and several nieces and nephews. His sister Charlene Rebolledo predeceased him.
A funeral service was held Saturday, Aug. 10 at the Mountain View Bible Church, 81 Page Road, Dublin, NH. Mr. Kevin Moody and Mr. Eric Moody of Dublin Christian Academy led the service. In lieu of Flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to The Dublin Christian Academy, 106 Page Rd, Dublin, NH 03444.
