This year's recipient of the James Felton Memorial Fund
Scholarship has been awarded to Killington resident Asia Hickory.
Asia is a 2012 graduate of Woodstock Union High School and the
Allied Medical Service Program at the Hartford Area Technical
Center. This summer Asia will earn her Licensed Nurse's Aid
certification and is enrolled in the nursing program at the River
Valley Community College in Claremont, New Hampshire that starts
this fall.
Asia is a member of the Killington Fire and Rescue, the Health
Occupation of America, and has been part of the administration of
the Killington Teen Center. Candidates for the Felton Scholarship
must show that they have participated or have interest in pursuing
a career in health services, firefighting, law enforcement, or
forestry. Congratulations to Asia!
