- Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network to officially launch in Rutland County

Two months after introducing 4G LTE service in Burlington and
Northern Vermont, Verizon Wireless announced that it plans to
launch 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) service in Bennington and
Rutland, and 16 additional communities throughout Vermont on July
19.
Verizon Wireless customers with compatible 4G LTE smartphones,
modems, tablets and mobile hotspots will be able to wirelessly surf
the Web, stream music and video, and download files up to 10 times
faster than customers on 3G, reports Verizon.
On Thursday, the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network will officially
launch in the following local communities:
• Brandon
• Castleton
• Clarendon
• East Dorset
• Killington
• Mendon
• Pittsford
• Poultney
• Rutland
• Shaftsbury
• West Rutland
