RUTLAND, Vt. -- Central Vermont Motorcycles is holding an open
house on Saturday, October 29, in support of local snowmobile clubs
and to kick-off the upcoming snowmobile season! The event
will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For each person who attends the
event and submits a certificate, Central Vermont Motorcycles and
Ski-Doo Snowmobiles will donate $10 to local clubs as part of the
Ski-Doo $1 Million Club Support Program. Certificates are available
at ski-doo.com
"Local snowmobile clubs are an important part of the snowmobile
community here, grooming the local trail system, training
snowmobilers in safe riding and raising money for local charities"
said Central Vermont Motorcycles general manager, Jay Eugair.
Adding, "we are glad to be able to help them get the trails ready
for the new season which will be here before we know it."
It's bound to be a fun-filled time for sledders with giveaways,
refreshments and safety clinics conducted by the local snowmobile
clubs throughout the day. Clubs will also be signing up new members
and selling 2011-12 trail passes during the event.
According to the International Snowmobile Manufacturers
Association, there are more than 225,000 miles of groomed and
marked snowmobile trails in North America that have been developed
by volunteer clubs, working with local government and private land
owners.
Central Vermont Motorcycles is located at 360 West Street in
Rutland. For more information contact Jay Eugair, at
