Thursday, Nov. 24 at 10 a.m. - Zack's Place is holding it's 5th
Annual 5K Turkey Trot, a chip-timed race for walkers or
runners.
Zack's place, in downtown Woodstock, provides a relaxed setting
where people with special needs are free to explore art, music,
dance, and exercise while developing lifelong bonds. The Turkey
Trot, "is the biggest fundraiser of the year and we depend on these
funds to accomplish our mission," said Dail Frates, co-founder of
Zack's Place.
The annual walk/run begins at Woodstock Elementary School and
finishes at the Woodstock Village Green. An awards ceremony will
immediately follow on The Green and the top three finishers in each
category will receive a prize.
Applications accepted thru Nov 19, online at www.runreg.com or by
sending your application to Zack's Place Turkey Trot, c/o

Pre-registered racers may pickup t-shirt and race packet on Wed.
Nov. 23 from 4-6 p.m. at Woodstock Elementary School.
Registration after Nov 20, can be done Wednesday, Nov. 23 from 4-6
p.m. or on Thursday, race day, 8-9:30 a.m. at Woodstock Elementary
School. Entry is $25 for pre-registered racers and $30 thereafter.
T-shirts are limited.
All racers must be ready for the 10 a.m. start.
