POWDR CORP ANNOUNCES THE PROMOTION OF THREE KEY PERSONNEL
 
·         Herwig Demschar has been named Senior Vice President of International Business Development
·         Chris Nyberg has been named President and Chief Operating Officer of the resort division of Powdr Corp
·         Mike Solimano has been named the President and General Manager of Killington Resort and Pico Mountain
 
PARK CITY, UTAH (September 21, 2012) -  Powdr Corp. (Powdr), a leading mountain resort and action sports camp owner and operator in North America, today announced the promotions of three key personnel within the company.  Powdr's chief operating officer, Herwig Demschar, has been named senior vice president of international business development for Powdr Corp.  Killington Resort and Pico Mountain's president and general manager, Chris Nyberg, has been named president and chief operating officer of Powdr's resort division. Killington Resort and Pico Mountain's director of finance and revenue, Mike Solimano, has been promoted to president and general manager of Killington Resort and Pico Mountain, assuming Nyberg's responsibilities. These promotions are effective immediately.

Demschar has been the chief operating officer of Powdr since 2007. Prior to this time, Demschar was a key figure in the international sporting world. He was a part of the Olympic movement working in key leadership roles for the Organizing Committees of the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, 2006 Torino Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games and 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. Prior to these roles, he was a successful alpine ski coach, coaching the Austrian National Alpine Ski team for nine years before coming to the United States to assume the head coach position of the United States Women's Alpine Ski Team. A native of Austria, Demschar resides in Park City, Utah, with his wife and three children.

With over 30 years of experience in the ski and snowboard industry, Nyberg was named the president and general manager of Killington Resort and Pico Mountain in 2007. Prior to this time, he held key leadership positions within the ski and snowboard industry including vice president of Prinoth, Italy, a division of the Leitner group and executive vice president of Bombardier Industrial. He was also the general manager of Snoqualmie Resort in Washington and mountain manager of Willamette Pass in Oregon.  Early in his career, Nyberg spent 12 years at Mt. Bachelor (a Powdr resort) in various management positions. Nyberg grew up farming in Oregon and he and his wife will relocate to Park City, Utah. 

Solimano brings many years of experience and broad knowledge to his new role at Killington Resort and Pico Mountain. For the past 12 years, he has served as director of finance and revenue and has been instrumental in achieving the recent on mountain and guest service improvements at both resorts. Prior to this time, he was the vice president of finance and operations for Skis Dynastar, Inc. He began his career as an audit manager at Deloitte & Touché.  Solimano makes his home in Rutland, Vermont, with his wife and three children.
