Ring in the New Year at the First Friday Wildwood Open Mic
benefit series at the Church of the Wildwood, 347 Holden Rd. in
Chittenden on Jan. 4 from 7-9 p.m. Musicians, poets and
storytellers of all ages are invited to share their talents with an
enthusiastic audience that is welcome to sing along and/or just sit
back and enjoy the show.
"Hunger-oriented issues" is the overarching donation theme for
this series. A portion of the freewill donations will benefit
the "Feed the Freezer" project that provides simple homemade
meals for local food shelves.
Let's start the new year with some great creative fun. Soup,
desserts and hot beverages will be available. The first 12
performers to call 483-2234 or email dmartin@sover.net, will be
assured a ten-minute show spot. A sound system is provided for
those who want it.
