KILLINGTON-A skier looks down from the North Ridge Triple at
Killington Resort Saturday, October 13, scoping out his first run
of the season. Cold temperatures produced a dusting of snow on
Killington Peak and allowed for snowmaking, which enabled the
resort to open skiing on the Rime trail for season pass holders. It
was the earliest opening in over a decade.
Snowmaking will continue as weather permits.
