Three feet of snow in four days: A holiday gift for the
first week of winter
Killington Resort has received nearly three feet of snow since
last Thursday, 35 inches to be exact. The new snow allowed the
resort to open an additional 54 trails. Currently Killington has
136 trails open, 20 lifts spinning, 69 miles of open terrain, 717
skiable acres, 1 terrain park with 21 features as well as their
lift served tubing open.
Snow sport enthusiasts from near and far flocked to Killington
to celebrate the New Year and play in the blanket of fluffy white
powder. Parking lots were filled to capacity with smiling
visitors.
What a great way to kick off the first official week of
winter!
