The KES Field Day and Picnic was held last Thursday to celebrate the year

KILLINGTON-Last Thursday, June 7, Killington Elementary School held their annual picnic to celebrate the school year. The event was held at the Johnson Recreation Center on River Road in Killington. Teachers, parents, and chaperones were present to share the much-anticipated event.
The dark clouds that loomed overhead for much of the day did not deter any of the excited K-6 students from the outdoor festivities, which included field games, a picnic with all the barbecue essentials, and of course, a splash in the pool which was opened specifically for this occasion.  One comic event took place when a group of students took shelter from a brief downpour under a parachute used for field activities. Parents opted for the pool house.
Kindergarden/Grade six graduation was held Tuesday, June 12 at KES, and Friday, June 15 marks the last day of school for other grades and the third grade play. After that, summer vacation will be official!
