Sunday, July 1 at 7:30 p.m.-Located in the midst of the Green
Mountain National Forest, just 11 miles from Killington and
Rutland, The Mountain Top Inn & Resort is proud to host the VSO
during its summer tour. This is the Resort's ninth year hosting the
Summer Festival Tour. With Andrew Massey conducting, this year's
theme is: Be happy! The VSO presents an evening of musical smiles!
The concert will be held on the scenic grounds of the Resort's 350
acres. With breathtaking lake and mountain views, the Resort's
rolling lawn area creates a perfect amphitheater for the concert.
Prior to the concert enjoy a traditional summer barbeque or
concert-goers are welcome to bring a picnic. Fireworks over the
lake accompany the 1812 Overture for a dramatic
finale.
Ticket prices are: Adult $31 in advance/$34 at the gate; Under 18
free in advance/$11 at the gate. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. for
picnicking and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m. Call 802-483-2311
