The Rutland Region Chamber of Commerce announced the coveted
Best Taste People's Choice Awards and Best Display People's Choice
Awards presented at the 31st Annual RRCC Winter In August
Celebration sponsored by Rutland Herald.
Best Taste Award People's Choice was awarded to Green Mountain
Truffles and Best Taste People's Choice Runner Up award to Ovations
at Killington Grand Hotel; the Best Display People's Choice Award
was awarded to Panera Bread and Best Display People's Choice Runner
Up was awarded to American Legion Post 31.
500 people including Congressman Peter Welch, Governor Peter
Shumlin and many other leading officials, along with Killington
Resort and Okemo Mountain Resort attended. The event held
annually recognizes the positive economic impact that the ski
industry has on the Rutland region and Vermont. Thirty area
restaurants, conference centers and businesses provided delicious
food for attendees to enjoy while the businesses marketed their
establishments.
