This past weekend our ears were assaulted once
again by a host of rude, selfish motorcycle riders, apparently so a
few people could make a little money. I live more than half a mile
from the Killington Road and the noise was horrible. I can only
imagine what it was like for people living closer. Some bikes were
properly muffled (as are cars) but a huge number were modified to
produce sound that can be literally damaging to hearing.
There is no reason we should have to put up with this
obnoxious condition. I object! The Killington Classic should be
extinct.
