Sept. 29 at approximately 10:46 p.m., Troopers from the Vermont
State Police Rutland barracks were dispatched to Price Chopper
Supermarket in the Town of West Rutland, for a robbery complaint.
Price Chopper employees were reporting an unidentified male
reached into the open register when the cashier was making change
for a transaction. Employees stated the man fled the store on foot
with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured in the
incident and State Police are asking anyone with information to
call (802) 773-9101.
