On Jan. 10, at approximately 4:05 p.m. one skier skied out of
bounds at the Pico ski area in Killington, Vt. The skier,
identified as James Rapitzky, age 18 from Saratoga, NY, was lost in
the woods for approximately 40 minutes. The skier was located
on Pico Mountain at approximately 4:45 p.m. by the Vermont State
Police as he found his way back onto the trial. The skier
stated he was on the Summit Glades and became lost. The skier
stated he did see out of bound signs. There were no injuries
to the skier.
