Obituary: Corey Loeliger-Myers, age 30

It is with great sadness that we tell you Corey Loeliger-Meyers, age 30, passed away on Friday, June 28. Corey drowned in a swimming accident while visiting friends near Mt. Hood, Oregon.

Corey Loeliger-Meyers was born in Randolph, Vt. and lived in Killington until he moved to Oregon after graduating from Woodstock High School. For the past several years he has lived in Glacier, WA with his fiancé Danielle Davis and their cat Betty.

Corey is the son of Ken and Barb Loeliger-Meyers.

A photo of Corey as a boy at the Catfish Derby appeared on the cover of The Mountain Times July 30, 1987 and was re-run this year in the June 6 edition on page 8 announcing the return of this Killington tradition.

A celebration picnic in Corey's memory will be held in Killington later this summer.
