“The Bus” offers members of Killington Chamber of Commerce discounts on winter season bus passes

RUTLAND - Marble Valley Regional Transit District (MVRTD) "The Bus" offers all businesses and employees that are members of Killington Chamber of Commerce (KCC) a steep discount on its winter bus season passes. KCC members will pay only $75, a 50% discount off the regular price of $150.

The winter season bus passes are valid through April 30, 2012 and are good on all MVRTD routes.

We are pleased to offer this great discount," says Saskia Hagen Groom, Community Outreach. "Though we offer this discount to anyone who purchases 10 or more season bus passes, not everyone in Killington has that many employees, so we would like to extend this discount to all who are eligible members regardless of the number of passes purchased."

Qualified employees should purchase their winter bus season pass directly at Killington Chamber of Commerce on Route 7 in Killington.

MVRTD services Killington (including Killington Road Night Shuttle), Rutland City, Ludlow, Manchester, Middlebury, Fair Haven, Poultney, Proctor and all towns in between.

"Many employees in Killington utilize our services and we would like to help during these challenging times," said Hagen Groom.
