United Way of Rutland County and the James T. Bowse Community
Health Trust would like to congratulate the eighth graduating class
of Project Board Development, a leadership training to strengthen
the nonprofit board of directors in Rutland County.
Participants of the program were engaged in a 5 week educational
class involving instruction in nonprofit basics, community
relations and marketing, finances and budgets, organizational
oversight and liability and legal matters. Volunteer
instructors for the classes included: Kevin Loso, Anne Lezak,
Bernadette Robin, Jamie Falco, Tom Pour, Mary Ashcroft and Jack
Facey.
Project Board Development participants were honored in an informal
graduation ceremony on March 27, at Heritage Family Credit Union on
West Street in Rutland. Agencies seeking board leadership
were invited to meet and greet the participants.
Congratulations to the graduates of the spring 2012 Project Board
