The Mountain Top Inn & Resort in central Vermont will open
The Barn in mid-January 2013, offering guests a classically elegant
location unique to central Vermont for a variety of functions.
Weddings, special events, fundraisers, and corporate meetings will
benefit from the amazing views, welcoming service and creative
cuisine of the popular resort.
The custom designed interior of The Barn, features a main level
of rich Vermont pine wood and hardwood throughout, more than 4,600
sq ft of space for up to 250 guests, windows on three sides, some
floor to ceiling, and breathtaking views of the lake and mountains
from anywhere in the room. The 1,775 square foot loft, overlooking
the main room, will accommodate theatre style seating for 200
guests; perfect for an indoor wedding ceremony or added seating for
any corporate event.
The lower level of The Barn consists of an exercise room, small
theatre, yoga room, treatment rooms, meeting room and game room.
This functional space will host an array of new services available
to the Resort's guests. The project broke ground in April 2012 and
in June 2012 a new 40' x 25' outdoor swimming pool and hot tub
opened as the first phase.
"The Barn has been 'on the drawing board' for more than six
years and we are pleased that it has become a reality," said Khele
Sparks, general manager. "Weekend business in The Barn will be
primarily weddings since our growth in the wedding market has
dramatically increased each year. We anticipate hosting numerous
meetings and corporate events during the week since our location in
central Vermont is ideal for businesses seeking a convenient
mid-state location."

Pittsford, Vt.; and Advanced Pool Systems, from Chittenden, Vt.
Located in the midst of the Green Mountain National Forest, just
11 miles from Killington and Rutland, The Mountain Top Inn &
