Motorcyclist clocked at 136 mph on Rt. 7

CLARENDON - A motorcyclist who was clocked at allegedly going more than 120 mph southbound on Route 7 in Clarendon was pulled over by the State Police on July 6 and charged with excessive speed, and careless and negligent operation. Accused is Troy Carabeau, 20, of Tinmouth. Sgt. Thomas Mozzer reported that Carabeau's motorcycle was locked into stationary radar at 136 mph.

Carabeau was taken into custody and transported to the Rutland barracks where he was processed for the offenses and issued a criminal citation to appear for the charges at a later date.
