BarnArts holds auditions for “The Realistic Joneses”

Saturday, April 24 at 2 p.m. — WOODSTOCK — BarnArts production of “The Realistic Joneses” by Will Eno will be the first Vermont or Northern New England showing. This play was first performed on Broadway in 2014 and features wonderfully quirky, real people caught between their romantic ideals and imperfect realities.

Great ensemble acting roles are up for grabs: Bob Jones, Jennifer’s husband (age 45-60); Jennifer Jones, Bob’s wife (age 45-60); John Jones, Bob and Jennifer’s new neighbor and husband to Pony (age 35-50); and Pony Jones, Bob and Jennifer’s new neighbor and wife to John (age 35-50).

Walk-in auditions will be held at the Norman Williams Public Library on Saturday, April 24 at 2 p.m. and Wednesday, April 27 at 5:30 p.m.

The script is available to preview at the library. Rehearsals begin May 9 in a location convenient for all.
