Brandon Festival Singers perform music for the Christmas season

Sunday, Dec. 11 at 3 p.m.—BRANDON—The Brandon Festival Singers, under the direction of Gene Childers, present the 35th annual Brandon Carol Festival featuring traditional, contemporary and original music for the Christmas season on Sunday, Dec. 11, 3 p.m. at the Brandon Congregational Church.
The 30-voice choir will be joined by piano and other instrumentalists. In the second section of the concert, the Festival Singers and the Onion River Jazz Band will join forces to celebrate Christmas in Dixieland style in a performance of “The Christmas Story,” an original work by Gene Childers for choir, jazz band and the spoken work. Don’t miss this popular event. A free will offering will be taken.
Brandon Congregational Church is located at 74 Park Street, Brandon.
