Castleton College to host clinic, “Three Writers Four Nights”

Tuesday, April 7 at 7 p.m. — CASTLETON — The Castleton College English Department will host a series of writing clinics titled “Three Writers Four Nights” during the month of April, beginning on Tuesday, April 7 at 7 p.m. in Herrick Auditorium.

Night one of the series will feature Castleton English Professor Burnham Holmes as he shares his experiences as a novelist and freelance editor for various publishing companies in “Living the Life of a Writer.” Night two, on Thursday, April 9 will highlight expressive writing by presenter Joanna Tebbs Young, weekly columnist and journalist for the Rutland Reader and Rutland Herald. Castleton English Professor Joyce Thomas will headline the third night of writing on Tuesday, April 12, with “Poetry as Activism.”

The final night of the series, taking place on Thursday, April 16 will follow an open forum format with all three presenters, allowing for open discussion and audience questions.
