Covid-19 art installation headlines launch of the Pittsfield Makers Place

Saturday, Sept. 26 at 10 a.m.‚—PITTSFIELD—Patricia McDonough is an abstract artist currently creating a piece about Covid-19, which will be installed at The Pittsfield Makers Place (formerly known as Pittsfield Bazaar) on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on the Pittsfield Green.

The piece, entitled “Acknowledgement and Grief” is 2020 by the numbers.

In addition, the Pittsfield Community Connection: Maker Place will feature local artists and crafts people, scarecrows, silent auctions. To keep everyone safe, masks are required.
