Don’t take it personally, let it go

This week’s Horoscopes are coming out under the light of a Sagittarius Moon, with levels of tension being induced by aspects that will make it hard to take care of business and get our needs met, at the same time. Most of the stress comes from a waxing conjunction between Saturn and the Moon. Saturn is duty and responsibility: the Moon is comfort and joy. When they’re on top of each other Saturn always wins out. With hard aspects from Jupiter affecting this point, it all boils down to knowing how to take the good with the bad.

This energy is a temporary thing that will keep us tied up for the next 12 hours. Even though short term lunar aspects are not serious enough to get concerned about, they affect our emotional attitude in ways that can totally alter the way things go. If we wake up in the morning and somebody looks at us cross-eyed or hurts our feelings in any way, our reactions in the moment could hold us hostage to various forms of fear and unpleasantness for weeks. Be conscious of where you are coming from. Be even more conscious of where those you are emotionally bound to are coming from as well. Don’t take anything personally. Be particularly aware of the ways in which passive aggression messes things up.

Whatever form the story takes, if we’re working through a lot of heavy-duty stuff or are otherwise hog-tied by the pressures of the third dimension, it’s time to get to the bottom of it in a way that allows what’s best for everyone to win the day. Creative solutions often require us to break the rules. Guilt trips will be floating around for many of us as we try to bridge the gap between what we think life expects from us and what we really want to do.

Mercury goes retrograde on April 28. This marks the onset of a three-week period where we will have a chance to revise situations and plans that have to be rearranged before anything can come together in a full and complete way. If things don’t happen according to plan, let it go and wait for what’s next to replace it with something even better.

It is more than important ever to go with the flow, because the Beltane Cross Quarter is coming up this weekend. The window between April 29 and May 1 marks the point in the yearly cycle when the force that woke up at the vernal equinox is ready to inseminate the world with whatever the dream contains. “As above, so below.” The only question we need to be asking ourselves is: “What does our dream contain?” Get in touch with what that might mean, knowing that this is the week where those seeds will be sown. Light a few candles, keep that in mind and enjoy this week’s ‘scopes.
