Fair Haven Concerts in the Park summer series begins Thursday with jazz band

Thursday, June 16 at 7 p.m. — FAIR HAVEN — The Fair Haven Concerts in the Park summer series has another great line up of entertainment for folks of all ages. The free Thursday night series begins Thursday, June 16 at 7 p.m. for a 10-concert series ending Aug. 18. Concerts go on rain or shine. The First Baptist Church at the south end of the park generously donates their space each year as a rain location.
The Onion River Jazz Band starts the season as a new band to the series. Billed as Vermont’s premier traditional Dixieland jazz band, this group based in Burlington is celebrating 32 years of music making.
The first concert will also feature free ice cream cones, one of five free cone nights this season. In addition, hot dogs, popcorn, soda and water are available to purchase.

Bring lawn chairs any time after 4 p.m. and enjoy the park, which is located in the center of town. Ample parking is available.

Back again this year is the weekly 50/50 raffle, plus door prize drawings for adults and children.
In addition to Onion River, new to the stage this year will be the Joe Moore Band and the Michelle Fay Band. Returning bands include James Mee and the Freeze, Mellow Yellow, Spurs USA, the 40th Army Band, Enerjazz, Aaron Audet and JP Murphy.
