Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 6:30 p.m.—RUTLAND—Voter training will be offered at the Rutland Library Fox Room on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 6:30-8 p.m. ARC of Rutland’s Self Advocates Becoming Empowered will help Vermonters learn how to vote and where to find unbiased information on who to vote for. Voting is easy—learn to make your vote your voice.
The Self Advocates Becoming Empowered group wants to help educate the public about voting and where to vote Some people don’t know a lot about voting, and these folks have been trained and are excited to share what they have learned. There will be light refreshments and a workbook to take home.
ARC Rutland Area is an organization that advocates for the rights of citizens with developmental disabilities and their families to be regarded as valued citizens with the same entitlements as non-disabled individual, including the right to lifelong opportunities for personal growth and full participation in the community.
