Help Stuff-A-Bus feed local families

Nov. 8-10—RUTLAND— The annual Stuff-A-Bus food drive is Nov. 8, 9 and 10. Bring items to the buses parked at Price Chopper and Hannaford in Rutland and help stuff the buses. The bus at Price Chopper will be there for donation collection Thursday and Friday between 6 a.m.-10 p.m.; and Saturday between 6 a.m. and 12-noon. The bus at Hannaford will be there for donation collection Thursday and Friday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.; and Saturday between 8 a.m. and noon. Radio personalities will be on hand to greet donors.

Proceeds from this special event benefit the BROC Community Food Shelf, Rutland Community Cupboard and The Salvation Army. The food and money collected helps feed hundreds of local families in need immediately.

“We are grateful to so many that generously support this great event,” said Tom Donahue, CEO at BROC Community Action. “The thousands of pounds of food collected could be feeding your friend, your neighbor or your family member.”

Volunteers and groups interested in helping unload the buses on Saturday at noon can contact Pamela Shambo at 802-665-1721 or pshambo@broc.org.
