Horoscopes for July 27 – August 2, 2016
Aries
March 21 – April 20
Balancing things goes up and down. Sometimes it seems like a joke to be trying to keep all of this from going haywire; so far so good. For the next few weeks you will be running around with more on your plate than usual. It’ll get crazy at times. Your control issues will be highly visible. Thank God life happens in spite of us, not because of us. By the time the seasons change you will see that all this huffing and puffing was less important than the need to tap into the faith factor, deep enough to realize that not only can you do this, your efforts are just about to pan out.
Taurus
April 21 – May 20
If you could only get people to come around to your point of view. It would be great if they knew enough to wake up, but they stopped listening to you a long time ago – and that is the problem. The communication factor is in the toilet because you have a tough time when it comes to being right. That’s OK. Being totally clear about what you want is a blessing – at times. What makes it hard is the idea that you don’t back down when you’re wrong. You’d do well to look at what it gets you to use this approach. At this point to keep pressing your case will get you nowhere.
Gemini
May 21 – June 20
Don’t think it’s your job to superintend this. You have to step back and give everything enough room to show you what it can do. The people in your life need to be left to their own devices as well. For one reason or another ‘space’ has become an issue; someone needs a little more of it than usual. Don’t be surprised if you get a chance to find out how much easier everything goes when everyone gets to be themselves. For the next few weeks you will be learning a lot about what happens when the people factor takes a back seat to the need to hook up with yourself.
Cancer
June 21 – July 20
You have no clear sense of what needs to happen next. That’s OK. Not knowing what to do is no sign of weakness. It looks like you’re making a few corrections, changes that will allow you to beam up and start living from a place of no compromise. Intense encounters have come on the heels of events that have totally overwhelmed your defenses. Tons of ‘stuff’ is raising the dead, and opening your eyes to things that you never would have seen if the shit hadn’t hit the fan. In all this chaos, God bless the fact that you have learned how to make the best use of adversity.
Leo
July 21 – August 20
Too many opinions about how things need to go are making it hard for you to zero in on what’ll work for you. Aside from that you’re having a tough time figuring out how to let everyone have their say. Don’t be too concerned about how the story goes. After a few twists and turns you will get your way. Taking care of more than your share is a theme. No one seems to be able to hold you back, when it comes to that. If you find yourself overwhelmed by it all, do your best to tone things down and create some space for what matters to you to come up on the screen every now and then.
Virgo
August 21–September 20
You can’t figure out which end is up. Some days you’ve got it all figured out, and on others it feels more like you’ve lost it. Coming to terms with yourself would be easier if your perfection trips didn’t make it so hard to be OK with things even when life isn’t all coming up roses. You can’t drive yourself nuts in the midst of changes like this. It only makes the transformation harder. Think long and hard about where you want things to go from here before you do anything drastic. If tossing everything out and starting over seems reasonable, it’s not time to go to that extreme
Libra
September 21 – October 20
You have a three-ring-circus going on. Being the ringmaster is starting to get to you. Not one to want to be totally in charge there has been no let up for quite some time. You can’t get off the merry-go-round right now, but never fear; in a month or so there will be a reprieve that gives you a chance to reap something constructive from all of this madness. Others are there for you 100%. If for some reason they are not, it’s because the two of you need a break from the weight of expectation, and/or, you are in dire need of experiences that remind you that it’s OK to be alone.

Half in this world and half in the next, you’re learning to live with heavy doses of ambiguity. Your surface reality is neat as a pin. Being all business is the best way to defend the inner piece, which is nervous about the prospect of love, and/or, the idea that you’re on the brink of something huge. Lots of good stuff is working in your favor. Keeping things real, and staying loose enough to walk through an intense period of transformation with grace and ease, will help you maintain balance. Others want something from you. Make sure you know what it is before you give it up.
SAGITTARIUS

You have to get serious at a time when you have just about had it with everything. The desire to break loose competes with responsibilities that are over the top. Delegating some of the pressure to others may give you some relief, but only if you stay loose enough to let them do things their way. No matter what your situation involves, any need to control people is bound to back fire. It only drives them away. Keep that in mind and be conscious enough to stop the madness when it arises. You’re right about a lot of things, but what applies in your world is by no means universal.
Capricorn

You’ve been working too hard to notice that your emotional needs have fallen through the cracks. Months of this have made it clear that it’s time to get a life. At the point where duty, responsibility, and all of that stuff goes over the top, there is an opening that allows us to see what we really need. You’re just about there. None of what’s become too important is as big as you’ve made it. Loosening your attachments and getting far enough away from the fray to make room for a little life to trickle in will make it easier to put all of this pressure into perspective.

You could be ready to cut loose; either that or after a long wait the chips are finally coming up in your favor. The underlying sense that you are free is over riding any fears that you might have that the other shoe might drop. By the time you read this, other forces will be in play. Don’t expect more from others than they have to give. Be realistic about who you’re dealing with and wake up to the fact you have all the power in this situation. Moving is on the menu. The need to break free, and carve out a place of your own is fueled by the desire to know where you belong.
Pisces
February 21 – March 20
Give all of this plenty of thought before you go for broke. It’s one thing to live in the moment, and quite another to have no foresight whatsoever. You’re in a situation where people and their motives are unclear. Weighing whatever it is that you want from them against what you have to lose, it’s hard to know where to put your faith. Bold moves are definitely in the wind, but they are ill advised. For now, it seems wiser to play it safe. The deeper part of you understands why. Others will bow to your wishes. If this is really meant to pan out, it will materialize in time.
