Join Rutland Jewish Center’s spring hike on Bucklin Trail

Sunday, June 7  at 1:30 p.m.—KILLINGTON—The Rutland Jewish Center is leading a spring hike Sunday on the Bucklin Trail. To join, meet at the trailhead on Wheelerville Road. The trailhead is about 3.8 miles from Route 4.  The parking area entrance is on the left just before the sharp right turn. If coming from the Notch Road side, it’s a little over 4 miles. Park in the lot, or on the side of the road if the lot is full.  The group will hike for about an hour and turn back at the start of the steeper ascent to Killington Peak. You are welcome to continue on your own to Killington Peak. There are two bridges the trail crosses over with rushing brooks, which make for nice photos or video.

Please wear a face mask, particularly for the early part of the hike, in case we encounter other hikers. Please also remember that to ensure safety, hikers will need to stay 6 feet apart.

If you have any questions, call Harvey Zara at 802-773-7685.
