Journalize genealogy in writing workshop

Saturday, July 16 at 10 a.m. — ORWELL — Find out what to do with family history research notes on Saturday, July 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mount Independence State Historic Site in Orwell.

Joanna Tebbs Young will lead a workshop, “Turning your Genealogical Research into a Narrative.” The hands-on workshop will focus on accessing creativity and  writing techniques to turn family history into a narrative for future generations.

Workshop fee is $25, includes admission to the site. Register by calling 802-948-2000.  Mount Independence State Historic Site is located 497 Mount Independence Road in Orwell. For more info., visit historicsites.vermont.gov.
