LBA holds educational series, shoreline protection permitting

Saturday, June 6 at 9 a.m. — The first of the educational series presented by the Lake Bomoseen Association will be held on Saturday, June 6 at 9 a.m. at Kehoe Camp on Point of Pines Road. Misha Cetner, an analyst form the Vermont Department of Conservation will be speaking on the topic “Shoreline Protection Permitting: Truths & Myths.” The talk is open to the public. Free coffee will be served.

Future topics and dates are: July 11, eco-harvesting on Lake Bomoseen by Terry Moran, Chairman of LBA water quality; Aug. 1, suction harvesting of milfoil by Tracy Carr; and Sept. 5 septic systems on a lake by engineer Chris Leister. This series is held to fulfill the mission of the LBA to preserve, promote and protect the lake.
