Learn about all-too-common breast cancer with RRMC

Thursday, May 12 at 6 p.m. — RUTLAND — According to experts 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. But what are the risks of breast cancer today? What are the best methods of detection, and what current surgical interventions are available?

Join physicians and providers for an in-depth discussion on the latest information and treatment of breast cancer and how medical and surgical interventions work together to treat cancer. The free informative session will be held on Thursday, May 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Franklin Conference Center in the Howe Center, 1 Scale Avenue, Rutland. Presenters include Allan Eisemann, M.D. and Rick Lovett, M.D. from the Foley Cancer Center; Loreen Eddy, RN from the Breast Care Program; and Matthew A. Conway, M.D., FACS from Rutland General Surgery.
