Literary events converge with Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park

July 24-25 — WOODSTOCK — Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park is pleased to partner with Bookstock, the Green Mountain Festival of Words to offer some special book-related activities. Two special literary offerings will occur in the park during Bookstock: a special writing and drawing workshop for young people; and a ranger-led Robert Frost poetry walk.

Youth are invited to draw creative inspiration from the beauty of Vermont’s only national park during a Young Creatives Workshop. This writing, drawing, and hiking adventure is for youth ages 13 to 19. This free workshop will be held Friday, July 24, from 9 a.m. to noon and meets at Carriage Barn Visitor Center.

A free Robert Frost Poetry Walk will be held Saturday, July 25 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. This 1.5-hour walk follows a trail with strategically placed with Robert Frost poems and explores the poetry of one of Vermont’s most beloved poets. Meets at Carriage Barn Visitor Center.
