‘Marv’elous poetry reading given in Woodstock

Thursday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. — WOODSTOCK — Marv Klassen-Landis will read selections of his poetry ranging from free-verse to his experiments with forms such as the Persian ghazal and the Malaysian pantoum on Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. at Norman Williams Public Library, 10 the Green, in Woodstock.

His poetry delights in imagery and sound, emotion and humor; structure and playfulness. Klassen-Landis is a performer, writer, educator, and arts education consultant. As a creative writing specialist at Norris Cotton Cancer Center and DHMC, he helps patients find their voice through writing and storytelling. His poetry has been published in a number of journals, including Seneca Review.
