RUTLAND— Congregate meals have been cancelled due to social distancing, but the Godnick Center still aims to feed seniors. In place of Meals on Wheels congregate meals, the Godnick Center and Meals on Wheels are providing drive-up pickup meals on Mondays and Thursdays at noon at the Godnick Center, 1 Deer St. in Rutland.
If you are interested in reserving a meal for pick-up please call 773-1853 and leave a message with your name and phone number. Reservation for pick-up must be made by Thursday for Monday pick-up and Monday for a Thursday pick-up. These meals are funded through the Southwestern Vermont Council on Aging. We suggest a donation of $3.50/meal picked up. We appreciate donations in any amount and understand if you cannot donate at this time. If you are age 59 or under, there is a charge of $6 for your meal.
