Don’t let your home be lost in foreclosure. Neighborworks can help before it’s too late, starting with free workshops.

Saturday, March 7 at 9 a.m. — WEST RUTLAND — On Saturday, March 7, NeighborWorks of Western Vermont will hold a Foreclosure Prevention Workshop from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

When it comes to your home it is important to act as soon as possible. NeighborWorks® of Western Vermont can partner with you to work with your lender. Together, they can help you find the best possible solution by providing trustworthy advice, support and foreclosure help. You don’t have to do this alone.

Foreclosure Prevention Workshop covers your rights as a homeowner, reviews foreclosure timelines, helps you understand your options, and know what to expect. The workshop is four hours and held at NeighborWorks’ office in West Rutland. Please call Lynette to register at 802-438-2303. You will need to bring all of your documents to the workshop. A $25 deposit to hold your seat is required; the deposit is refunded in-full after the class.

Then, on March 11, attend a Financial Capabilities workshop from 5 – 9 p.m. at the NeighborWorks Office. People of all walks of life benefit from informed financial management. Take charge and starting building a strong financial life with Financial Capabilities class. The class is for renters and homeowners who want the knowledge and resources to make better financial decisions. The class is free ($25 deposit is required and refunded after completion of the class). Meet one-on-one with a certified financial coach after finishing the class. All coaching sessions are free of charge. Your coach will partner with you to make a plan for you to reach your financial goals. Space is limited.
