New Stockbridge festival “ NoTown ” announces debut lineup

Bow Thayer, Tony Lee Thomas, and Rick Redington—among many other bands—will play at new festival No Town at the site of Tweed River Tubing in Stockbridge.

July 22-24—STOCKBRIDGE—The brand-new, Vermont-born music festival, NoTown, has announced its inaugural lineup. The NoTown festival is set for three days, July 22-24, at Tweed River Tubing, 2056 VT-100 at the junction of VT-107 in Stockbridge.

Topped by local legends Bow Thayer, Tony Lee Thomas, and Rick Redington & the Luv, super Vermont-based groups Hamjob!, Oak Totem, Sonic Malfunktion, and Dirty Boost are all included in the lineup.

NoTown is also set to host performances from three of Vermont ‘s top solo acts. As a special treat for fans of

local independent music, Bow Thayer, Kelly Ravin, and Lowell Thompson have formed a trio just for NoTown’s maiden voyage. Rising Vermont solo artists Jenny Porter and Chris Pallutto complete the bill.

NoTown bills itself as creative and immersive, with themed stage, art installations, roving performances, and morning yoga. NoTown will have local vendors and artists as well.

The festival will also feature Matt Lillie from Soundtown in order to give festival goers the best possible sound with tech which allows for pre-emptive 3D sound modeling and mapping.
