Perennial favorite, Phil Abair Band to perform at Okemo’s free concert series

Friday, July 25 at 6 p.m. — LUDLOW — Okemo Mountain Resort will host a free concert on July 25 featuring the Phil Abair Band as part of the Jackson Gore Summer Music Series presented by Vermont Properties and Development, Inc. Concerts are scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday evenings in the courtyard at the Jackson Gore Inn. 
Winners of the Burlington Free Press Readers’ Choice Award for Best Band, the Phil Abair Band is a perennial favorite. The band features four lead vocalist and skilled, experienced musicians that have been members of various Phish projects. With a repertoire that spans all styles of dance music, the band’s mission is to keep everyone on their feet.
On Friday nights throughout the summer season, the lawn in the courtyard at Okemo’s Jackson Gore Inn is transformed into an outdoor concert venue featuring popular local and regional bands. Admission is free and the grounds open at 5 p.m. Families are welcome and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets. In case of rain, the concerts will move indoors.
