Poet Laureate Sydney Lea reads from his works in Woodstock

Tuesday, March 31 at 7 p.m. — WOODSTOCK — Join the Norman Williams Public Library on Tuesday, March 31 for a poetry reading with Poet Laureate of Vermont, Sydney Lea. Lea will be reading from his forthcoming 12th book of poems, “No Doubt the Nameless,” as well as from even newer work and prior poetry collections. He will also read one or two entries from his collection of short-short personal essays, “What’s the Story? Short Takes on a Life Grown Long,” a series of reflections on the relation between objective reality and the reality conceived by a writer — or really by anyone. The reading will take place from 7-8 p.m.
