Here is a list of road construction projects happening in Rutland and Windsor counties. Please remember to drive safely in all work zones. Lives depend on it.
Rutland and Windsor
Bethel – The bridge replacement along VT 12 continues. The traffic pattern will require vehicles to navigate different lanes to get around the work zone. Expect gravel surfaces and some delays.
Cavendish – Weathersfield – A roadway project along VT 131 continues. Motorists will encounter multiple areas of one-way alternating traffic and gravel road surfaces. A temporary traffic signal between Lindberg Dr. and Brook Rd. will result in some delays. Expect longer than usual delays in the area of the traffic signal this week.
Hartford – Motorists can expect traffic delays as crews work on drainage across US 5 near the US 5 and Sykes Mountain Ave. intersection. Traffic continues as one thru-lane and one turn-lane in each direction, 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
Mount Holly – VT 155 is closed for a bridge and culvert replacement over Mill River. The closure will be in place for the next several weeks, with a signed detour in effect utilizing VT 100 and VT 103. Please plan accordingly.
Norwich – A rail crossing improvement project is underway along River Rd. Motorists may encounter one-way alternating traffic.
Pittsford – Multiple activities for roadway reconstruction along US 7 this week. Motorists should expect one-way alternating traffic early in the week with delays, and intermittent stoppages of traffic for the remainder of the week, with speed reductions and delays. Plan on adding a few extra minutes to your travel times.
West Rutland – Motorists can expect one-way alternating traffic along VT 4A on Monday for paving operations. Storm drain and sidewalk work along VT 133 this week will create minor delays. Work at the intersection of BUS 4 and VT 4A will require lane closures and create minor delays this week.
Windsor – Hartland – A paving project continues along US 5. Travelers should expect areas of alternating one-way traffic with some delays.
