RYT’s “Hamlet” continues to perform in second week of traveling troupe

Rutland Youth Theatre’s traveling troupe held a dress rehearsal of its presentation, Shakespeare’s “Hamlet,” prior to performances that began July 20 and continue this week.

July 27-29—Award-winning Rutland Youth Theatre presents Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” as a traveling troupe, continuing this week, July 27, 28, and 29. The play is produced and directed by Saskia Hagen Groom; stage manager is Barb Lassen.

Show times and locations are as follows:

July 27, 7 p.m.: Springfield, Springfield Cinema Theatre

July 28, 7 p.m.: Wallingford, Wallingford Town Hall

July 29, 7 p.m.: Shrewsbury, Community Meeting House

This is a free event (donations accepted) and all shows are open to the public. Each show will feature Rutland Youth Theatre’s famous bake sale with proceeds going to support RYT’s theatrical endeavors. For more information call 802-558-4177.
